Hey tootall, how is it going, enjopying the springlike weather? No snow in Plymouth today, how bout the back mt area? I have not checked yet, but I beleive flounder will come in the first week of June and this year it is very limited, I have heard 2 fish at 19 inches. Last year it was 8 at 16 1/2 . Rumor has it there may not be a season for it in 2009. 001

Wrong Flat fish... I didn't think this far north Summer Flounder or Fluke would be confused with it's smaller Spring cousin the Black back flatfish. In Long Island St. Patrick day is the first day of Black back flounder Season. You fish in the flats and bring out the rubber plunger on a long pole and wake them to strip clam and worm baits
