I went down the river today. Way to muddy.
Only 3 of us out there. 1 comercial, me and Marine Fisheries. Take a guess who got stopped and checked.

We heard the shad were beginning their run up the Neuse and set out in a friend's boat today. Didn't get a bite. Think it is still a little early. Hopefully it will pick up in 2-3 weeks. Not too chilly out but the ice forming at the helm made it interesting :eek:

Heard they caught a few shad also but decided it was way too cold for me and the water was way to high. Guess I just stay home and be good hubby today being that it is V-day*fingerscrossed*
