What kind of bunks are on your trailer? I have an 07 single axle under my DLV and it has the bunks covered in a black plastic cover. I think the bunks are tearing up the gelcoat on the bottom a bit. Anyone else deal with this?
I think the answer is to carpet the bunks. What carpet holds up the longest?
Who can tell me how to pull my boat off the trailer in my driveway so I can carpet the bunks? Do I jack up the trailer with the boat on it, block up the boat and then pull the trailer out?

I have the plastic covers also. I have not noticed any wear on the hull.
got pics ??
Sorry Fillet, I don't know what to tell you. My Road King came with carpet and seems to be holding up fairly well. I would call them and explain what is happening. They might be able to point you in the right direction or even ship you out a roll of carpet to cover the bunks.
I have provided their contact info below.

Try spraying with silicone, but BE CAFEFUL BOAT WILL LAUNCH QUICKLY !!!!!
Rich we had the same boat and trailer. Since My boat was bottom painted I noticed the paint was scraping (in line) with the bunks. The silicone reduced the loading/unloading friction.
