Here's a picture of my weekend cruiser.
Thought about towing the skiff with it, but it would probably snatch the trailer out from under it..... ;D ;D

since i run a transmission shop, i'm working on/ building hot rods quite a bit. just finished up with a Turbo 400 trans in an '86 Chevy pickup with a big block. it just dynoed at 608hp at the rear wheels!!! the trans we built for it will handle closer to 800hp! customer should be extremely happy when he gets his truck back. we built a 2500 rpm stall torque convertor to help him get more power rolling to the wheels. the thing hauls some major butt off the line! well that is when the rear tires actually get traction! pickups are too light in the rear for this much power!

Paint it black and put a 71 front clip on it and it'll look like my first car. God, I miss that car. 004 004 004 004

Nice rides guys. I love 'em but am between hot rods right now. My dad and I are on the prowl for an older lemans or tempest to restore. Harry that photo of Kennedy Park brings back memories. The last time I was there was quite a while ago and I was escorted out by police with my girlfriend at the time for...well use your imagination LOL.

Harry:
No V8 in the trike, just a mere 1776 cc VW engine with dual carbs and mild cam, but enough to lift the front wheel off the road in 3rd gear.
I owned a V8 trike for a while (Lightning) - talk about acceleration - it would really push you back into the seat. Sold it before I built this one. Couldn't bear to see it rusting from the inside out - I was living in Galveston at the time, 2 blocks from the Gulf. Things made of metal other than high quality stainless didn't hold up very well.

Lightning Motorcycle Trike - 350 Chevy, 350 turbo hydro trans, and of course a 500 watt stereo.
