Anyone know anything about Kirkland skiffs? Word is Kirkland worked for CS and designed the CS semi-vee, and started his own co. in Alabama. Apparently already out of business! I'm asking because I talked w/a guy selling a Kirkland 17 (looks like a CS SV). I'd rather get a DLX, just can't find one! Doesn't seem to be much info on the net!?

There's a note up in NADA that says "Kirkland Boats are no longer in production". Their web link www.kirklandboats.com is no longer valid.
