Installed LED Console lights..

There's virtually no battery drain using the LED lights, and they light up the deck real nice. Should be great for an evening cruise and night fishing. Thinking about installing them in the rear deck as well....

I looked at boaters world but they didn't have the LED's. I found mine at West Marine.

I BOUGHT THE EXACT LED LIGHTS FOR MY 198DLX, BUT HAVE NOT INSTALLED THEM YET. I WAS NOT SURE IF I NEEDED MORE OR NOT. WITH YOUR SETUP DO YOU HAVE ENOUGH LIGHT OR DO YOU WISH YOU INSTALLED MORE IN THE CONSOLE? I HATE TO CUT THE CONSOLE AND WISH I HAD ADDED MORE. I HAVE 3 BOUGHT. 1 FOR THE FRONT OF CONSOLE AND 1 FOR EACH SIDE. I ALSO WILL BE GETTING 1 FOR THE REAR DECK AS YOU SUGGESTED. DID YOU WIRE THEM TO YOU NAV LIGHT SWITCH OR SEPERATE SWITCH

The way you see mine, I have enough light for the front and sides. I will probably in the futrue add two more in the bulkhead (lower front section) of the rear deck. There not really any light back there the way I have it.

It's wired to the accessory switch, like Rich's is.
