Hello Carolina Skiff Owners, just pickup my new 21DLV w/140 Suzuki! I could not believe how quite the engine was during the trail run. I had a yamaha F90 on my last 19DLX and it was a sweet engine but not as quite. My only issue is the maximum hp rating. The CS site stated 140 max hp and the coast guard tag reads 150. Anyone have any ideas what that is all about? I would have liked to have the biggest engine on her.

The DF140 is what I have on my 238DLV and it has plenty of power. With the extra 50lbs. and only 10HP. more you couldn't tell or see any difference between the two I would think.

Just cost more. ???
