We won't be using the boat at all in the next month and a half. Was wondering what is the proper way to store my engine. I will be killing the battery connections and definetely cleaning it real well prior to storing it. It will not be prone to freezing. What should I do about the gas in the motor and in the tank.

I have always used stabil with no problems - there have been some post lately about stabil solidifying in there tanks - for me it has always worked great in the past

Think I should do all of that just for a 6 weeks storage ???
I was just worried mainly about the feul in the tank and the motor.

If it were me, I'd just have some of the stabil in the gas and run it through the engine. I have my suzuki 50 in the garage and hook up the ear muffs and run it once every 4 weeks or so for 3-5 minutes. Stabil is in the gas also. Been doing this for the last 3 years. Seems to work just fine. Willie 010

more than likely will not crank mine this week because it is so cold - for a southern boy mid 20's is cold - but if I do not go to the lake I crank mine about once every 2 weeks and let it run for about 10 minutes and then make sure the water drains good and take the air compressor out and blow the drain lines and the fitting where I can hook the water hose in I open it up and let it drain and try to blow it out with the air hose as well
