Holy heck thats a neat contraption!! Nice job. 012

I have a fitted cotton duck cover for my 198dlv. I use it during the season when its on and off a lot. i put it away in the winter and use a regular old tarp for the winter. The slick surface sheds snow better than the cotton.

I made a support but its just 2 pcs of pvc and 3 T pieces. One piece is bent into an arc with a T on each end. The T's sit on the steps to the front deck with the pvc as an "arc" into the air. From the top center of the arc there is another T that is cut so it snaps onto the arc. Attached to that is a straight piece of pvc that connects to the crossbar of the center console grab rail. This holds the tarp up on the bow area of the boat. I use it under the summer cover and the winter tarp. From the bow back the tarp is supported by the seat back on the cooler seat and the top of the outboard. It has worked well so far.

Nice bit of ingenuity there FLBoy3!!! 011 I've been struggling with a way to cover the 218DLV with t-top. For now a 20x30 poly tarp is the best I can come up with. Your pvc invention has me thinking. 8)
