holidays coming group fishing obx ?

Im taking off from work for 4 days starting friday the 4rth.tried to get a group together about a month ago.It was just me and obxhokie.Would like to try it again any takers?*thumbsup*

Their is a public ramp at Wancheese but i'm not sure how deep it looks shallow
their it's near the fisherman's wharf Restaurant..

Yep used it in past years it was kind of run down then have they inproved it any?

1 slip with a rickety walkway. I have not used it this year. I used it last year quite a bit and did not have a problem with it. If I was going this weekend, I would either be at Oregon Inlet at 6:00 am or use that ramp. Just parked my car and trailer next to the seafood trucks. *thumbsup*

Your right Bill I think I might fish the bay bridge tunnel in va because lack of people that can make it.Maybe as fall comes we can gaet a group together for some stripper fishing.Have a good holiday. Mike

Marty thanks I think I owe you a fishing trip or two .Havent used dog vest yet put will as water gets colder.hope to get a charter this fall or winter .I dont know about others in area but I fish all year long and do good .Drop me a message when you are up to fishing october I will be fishing ruddie inlet for trou and pups.then the hot ditch four trout.

I also think it is great you have tried to get a group together several times. I have also not been available any of the times suggested, but would like to at some point. Don't forget to look for stripers when you are up in October. Season opens on the 4th.

In addition to the Pirates Cove and Wanchese ramps around Manteo, I saw a ramp in town on what looked like a dredged canal. I have not tried it, but was wondering if anyone was aware of it and how far the run out the canal was?

Also just curious, as to what ramp do you use when fishing the hot ditch?

The Ramp on Gilbert street "acrost from My Pops house is private owned by RD Sawyer and on lease to Manteo Marine !
Parking is the concern their !

Shallow Bag Bay access
Right onto Ananias Dare street in the direction of festival park / Manteo water front
Small ramp limited parking !

Croatan sound access from Manteo !
Take a left @ the stop light just past the FORD dealer , on to Bowsertown rd till it ends then a left on california about 150 yards on right to a nice double DNR Ramp, be ready to do it it's skeeter country !

Another Near The end of Mother Vineyard if you want to test you shallow water ability !
