And our oldest daughter too !!!! *yay*
And in true fashion he nailed this nice Weakfish that tipped the scales at 4.4 Lbs on the first drift !!!
We made 5 drifts in about an hour, and had this fish, plus 3 keeper flounder, and a half dozen short flounder. *thumbsup*
Boat traffic picked up and that was the only weakie.

We weren't far from the dock, brought the water ski's which we left in the truck. It was nice and flat out but getting dark and thunder heads moving in.
We high tailed it back to the dock, and grabbed the ski's.
Took about 5 attempts and he got up  Proud moment for me.
Daughter wanted to try but couldn't get her up, but not for the lack of trying *kickrock*
Headed back in, cleaned the fish, got home and it's now POURING out !!! *001*
GREAT morning with quality time spent with 2 out of our 3 kids. Harry will be starting football next Monday and school in a couple weeks. Jessica will be going back to College in two weeks, so getting this time in was great.

Very nice "trout." Looks like a very close relative to our spotted sea trout. How big do those guys get up your way?
It's great to be able to catch fish when you have the kids along. Kinda makes it all come together.*thumbsup*

They are a close relative and can get up to 15 pounds. That would be a MONSTER.

Yup,
Last year he was about 6-8" shorter and about 130 Lbs
Now he is 13 yrs old, 5'8" and about 125 Lbs  Trying to get a little more mass on him for football, cause the weight limit is 170 Lbs. Giant hands and flippers for feet, (size 12)
I told him he should be a swimmer,
But he's coming along nicely and an A student, What else could we ask for .... *006*

Me thinks you found a new fishing buddy!
No, He always was my fishing buddy. He seemed to take last summer and most of this one off. (He's finding girls *thumbsup*)
As long as he could hold a fishing pole it was always "Dad, can we go fishing". Of course I would oblige
I'm sure he'll snap out of it . *003**003**003**003**003**003**003* ;D

Im running into the same thing girls, school and work 3 boys 22,20 and 17.Were down on vacation this week, got to fish at different times. Great to see them grow but loved it when all they wanted to do was fish and go to the shore. Most of this, summer it was me and my wife, glad she likes to fish.
Harry thats a nice weakie you don't see to many of them any more.

Thanks,
The weakies are moving in up in the back, but as soon as boat traffic shows up they take off or at least get lock jaw.

nice going Harry......the smile said it all......hopefully by Tuesday....*Ahoy*
Way to go Team Harry! That's a nice weakfish and I know the flounder are good ones too 'cause of the NJ minimum size limit *yay*
Mixing up the day with a little fishing and some water sking... whatever it takes...smart Dad *thumbsup* With any luck, the girls Harry picks will like fishing and watersports too, and someone will have to run the boat... at least for a few more years ;D
