Hello Everyone,

I am from Tennessee and have been living in Florida for a while. I am getting ready to relocate to the Palm Coast area so I had to get me a boat. So i went out and ordered a 2180DLX. Supposed to be ready this week. Can't wait. My wife is about to loose her freaking mind with me searching endlessly for accessories and gear, etc. I am excited to get it I looked at boats for about a year before making up my mind and settling on the Carolina Skiff. I have had boats before so I knew exactly what I didn't want which makes it hard to find what you do want, but after plenty of patience I ordered mine. I got the 2180DLX with a 115 Etec, T-Top, Leaning post with tackle storage, 2 18 gal livewells, 80 lb thrust minn kota, garmin GPS, 27 gal tank, and a galv. trailer. I am hoping to get it before the long weekend, which pretty much leaves me with tomorrow...so i'll keep my fingers crossed. 003

I bought it at Advantage Marine and Tackle in Dade City, FL. They have been very helpful so far. I heard a lot of good things about them, plus they are an Etec dealer and that is what I was looking for due to the low maintenance. I am a Asst. Superintendent for a large contractor so any time I have off I don't want to be working on anything if you know what I mean.

Ryan, with the dual livewells in the back, where are they going to install your batteries. I first ordered my 2480 dlx with the dual livewells and then I stoped and looked at that setup at one of the dealers and it would be very difficult to install batteries or anything else under the rear deck. And if you did they would be hard to get to. So I called and changed my order luckly before they had put the rear deck on. How are they setting yours up?

They said that it would be in the back. The owner at Advantage is very knowledgable on CS and actually recommended the two livewells. Never really occured to me about the battery. I know that the two for the Trolling motor are going to be up front. Its gotta be easier to get to even if difficult than most bass boats or offshore boats like i have had before. We'll see. He actually tried to talk me into the two 30s, but i didn't see the need in that.

Right now in the Clermont area. I will be moving to Palm Coast soon. I plan on going to mosquito lagoon and ponce inlet area a lot with the occasional trip to crystal river for scalloping, etc. Still haven't gotten my skiff yet.....Hurry up and wait!!!!!!!!!!!
