Stock trim tab wiring on Sea Chaser

Hello, my new boat with the electric tabs on it seems to be wired in reverse. The dealer said it was supposed to be this way but I dont think so. The controller has the left and right bow up and down switch. They are layed out like this.

left bow down right bow down

left bow up right bow up

On any other boat, the switch corresponds to the result. This one is opposite. I dont believe they intended this to be this way but just to be sure, how are your boats wired.

Recieved word today from Carolina Skiff that they can be wired either way and that some prefer the "backwards" set up. They also noted that it is an easy fix to reverse the way its wired

I fixed it today and it was very easy. Inside the console and behind the panel. find the wires that come out of the power pack (that comes straight off of the tab controller). There are 2 sets of 2. They have male/female connectors that separate. Just reverse the wires on each set with the other set. Keep the white with the white and the black with the black. Done. 5 minutes total.
