Took my wife and grandson to Ocracoke Island and found this on the beach. I think someone had a bad day.

Wow. Did she have a name or home port? Does anyone know the story of what happened?

Owner miss to channel to the island. Its a narrow channel that runs close to the shore line. Put it up on the beach at high tide around 4 am that morning. No real damage, I talked to him a little and he said they could get it off the beach and back floating sometime next week.
This is the forth time I have found a boat on the beach or on a sand bar close to shore in 6 years (maybe 12 trips to the island). Tuff channel to travel.

I was wondering where she was - been looking for some time. Would you mind hauling her up to Onalaska Texas for me? I'll chip in for gas...

Hell if I could have gotten her back in the water I would be in the south pacific by now. 011
