Well not too bad and not so good.
Hit the wrecks for big fluke and whatever took the bait. Sea bass.
We found a spot and marked it and hit some real nice size bass. My son was showing us up with double hookups and both were keepers. 5x in a row!
Let me tell you when the marker went down we must have put up a sign for free beer.
7 boats hit on us and we could tell you the color of the eyes of everybody on every boat.
Took 3 more passes on our marker(we had to get in line)picked up and left.
We fished the Tire Reef and found a few keeper fluke.
The winds picked up and it was just too rough to fish.
By the way I decided to try Sea Robin.
Not bad. To me it tastes like Sea Bass. Need some big ones to make it worth while. I'll eat them again.
Fished out of Barnagat Light. Beautiful day of sunshine. Came home to the Trenton area and clouds and gloom. Love the shore.

Willie I took the fillets(they are small) and put them in a plastic container . added some of Emerils cajun seasononing with a bit of olive oil and put them in the fridge overnight. Next day they went in tightly wrapped foil and on the grill for 10 mins. To me they taste very much like sea bass.

Willie I met the foil was sealed tight. I gave it room for air/steam.
I find when I do the fish this way it tastes better cold the next.
The grill flavor really comes out. I have been putting them in soft taco wraps with shredded lettuce and diced tomato and a little tartar sauce for lunch. Of course anything else you want on it.
I mix them with the small sea bass fillets because you would have to catch a bunch to have dinner.
