I was just down there April 5th-12th (actually stayed in Ft. Myers) but we fished near you, out of fishermans village. Usually fish with a guy named Dave Stephens, Super nice guy, but this trip we were unable to hook up with Dave. >:(

Stayed with my wife's uncle and he took us through this really neat little town called Matlacha, while showing us Pine Island. That liitte town was so cool looking and all the buildings painted different bright colors.
Might fly back down with her uncle as he is up north for the summer and will help him drive his car back, (he's in his late 60's)
He was saying if we do that we might try to get another fishing trip when we go down.
I would LOVE to catch a Tarpon, but we usually go down in Feb or March, which seems to be too early for them. I hear right after a full moon when the crabs are being swept out of the pass, in May or June is good??
