View Full Version : Finally some keepers !!
My grandson caught six flounder today and one large skate . Two of the flounders were keepers. Best day of fishing ever he said. Definitely the best day on the new boat. He wants me to add that the big fish was 21 and three quarters and weighed four pounds.

Nice job Gavin !!!!!
Jim,
That Skiff raises fish !!*yay*
My folks are up from SC and we've had non stop rain for what now seems like a week straight.
Today was nice, so I took a vacation day, and took my son and father out.
Three generations of Harry's;D
Partly cloudy early and sunny around noon. I spoke with Jim on the radio. We were close but not that close. It seems the bite was on today, throughout the area.
Great job getting on the fish Jim.... *Cheers*
We wound up with about 50, 3 keepers, none of the keepers were caught by me, but that's ok, we just stuffed them with crabmeat and finished eating them... YUMMY !!!
Harry
Gavin says Thanks . He's getting to be a pretty good fisherman. He caught all his fish with no help from me except for the net . He's very proud of his two keepers.
Sounds like you guys had a good time too. Its great that the three of you get to go out and fish together. *thumbsup*
Hopefully we'll start having more days of decent weather and catch a few more keepers. I'l talk to you later.

Nice pics JIMP! Congrats on the doormats. Thanks for sharing.
Where did you take out of?
I grew up in Nutley and my dad and I fished the Atlantic Highlands. We would take out of a place called Henjo's Dock and head out around Sandy Hook. I have no idea if Henjo's is even around anymore.
Thanks again. Brings back memories.
Best regards,
Bill
Thanks Bill
Harry and I both go out of the Yacht Club of Pleasantville on Lakes Bay which is just west of Atlantic City . Its a short ride to the ICW and the waters behind Margate and Ventnor. Thats where we were fishing today. I 'm new to these waters myself and I am quickly learning there's a lot of great spots for fishing. Thanks again , take care .
