Not a good time for us. Cora leaves to go on vacation Saturday so we want to spend all the time we can with her before she leaves.

How about Hams in Havelock, 1900 (7 PM). Hams Restaurant is on the right side of Hwy 70 if coming from the west, between the Post Office and Hampton Inn, before the speed zone changes from 50 to 40 MPH.

I will talk to my bride in a few minutes. As long as we can have the shop closed up by 6 or 6:30 we should be there by 7 or 7:30 at the latest.

We passed Ham's at a little past 10:30. Carol wanted to aim for Beaufort, no fun for me. Sorry we missed out but there will be a next time. I was looking forward to meeting my fellows for a cold one.

Well shucks, we were all gone by 2100 anyways fellows. Jack came down from his home in the Raleigh area and joe58540 came in from JVille and we chowed down on some of the best burgers this side of Virginia and washed um down with some pop with foam on top. With such short notice, I didn't expect much of a turnout but it's been so long since our last meeting, I wanted to get one in before the long (4th) holiday weekend.

Nice to meet you Joe... I'm looking forward to getting out on the water with you in the not-to-distant furture... and thanks for entering our summer tournament - it's still wide open with plenty of empty slots to fill... good luck to ya *Cheers*
