You really need a general tech/discussion forum. There are alot of boating issues that are model (DLX, etc.) independent but there is no where to post them. One of the things that makes a good forum site (IMO) is a parcity of individual forums. THe problem now is, since I have a DLX, I guess I post my tech question (fiberglass, etc.) question in there but many users will never see it and make the forum less interactive and useful and ultimately lead to fewer users.

Make sense?

Otherwise the site is great and easy to use.

Makes perfect sense. In fact I just added a new board in the "General Category" called "General issue topics"

Thanks for your suggestion and that's what makes this place.... 012

I agree with dwilliamsceg. The site is great but I don't like having to go through all the different topics to find new post. Could there be a main board or something for all the new post to start on and stay there for a number of days and then be sent to their respective area for future look ups. Just a thought. I don't have the perfect solution. Again its a great site but very time consuming browsing through all the different topics to see the good info thats there.

Harry if I may assist with this one... flboy3, if you look at the top left of the forum window, right beneath where it says "Hello flboy3", or whatever your forum name is, there's a link to "Show unread posts since last visit". Once you click on that link, the next window will list those "unread" posts and display another link to "Show all unread posts". I use that quite frequently if I've been offline for a few days and need to catch up. After reviewing the posts that are of interest to me, I can use the menu option to mark all posts read, which will basically clear the list.

Yup,
Plus the propellers are gold when there are no new posts, When there has been in new post in that forum they are silver. At least they are on my screen.

Use Mozilla Firefox if you have problems with spelling and fat finger syndrome. The built in spellcheck underlines words that are spelled incorrectly.
