spindle size

Qucik question,

If The outer measurment of a square axle is 2' What size spindle do I need? 1 3/4?
Ran into a litle trailer issue today.. Basicly made it home by the skin of my teeth. Jack up the boat/trailer and the tire and hub just pulled rite off with out touching a bolt*001* Blew inner and outer bearingings and shreaded the spindle. Some one was looking out for me today*008*

Just incase anybody is intrested. I spoke with the gentlemen @ the trailer supply store and we ordered a round (instead of square for the square axle) 1/34 diameter. I have the welder comming Wednesday to cut off the old one and install the new one. Fingers crossed that I have everything I need to get me back in the water this weekend.
