Went out yesterday and took today off to go out again (blowing to beat the band today).

Been so busy, It's the first time in 3 weeks I had the boat out. For the most part I got skunked both days... 004

One croaker yesterday in the ocean & two big sharks in the bay today. Thought for sure the first one was a striper.... 001

Got a call Friday night (REAL windy) the the boat broke a dock line and was in danger of slapping into the boat next to me. :o So someone tied it up , until I arrived.

Ran down and the Brass snap hook I used on the bow ropes wore out and pulled apart. I re-tied it up and got a galvanized steel one put on Saturday. Almost crapped my pants..... ;D

i haven't been fishing in over a month. went to New York/PA on vacation for a week and have been rigging my new boat. so i'm kinda glad the weather has sucked. at least i wasn't working on the new boat in the driveway watching beautiful fishing weather pass me by!

Slim to None, you came up to my neck of the woods, this morning I had to go scrape the frost of the car, where did you vacation at? Oh as as far as fishing goes, I did get on the surf at OC and Brigantine, NJ yesterday for a couple of hours, not a thing to report. Andy at Riptides B&T in Brigantine, said a couple of striped bass came in from the surf in the morning, but the action seems to be in the back and in the inlets mainly from the boat guys. Do ya hear that Harry???? 011 011 010

i stayed in Beacon, NY which is an hour north of NYC right on the Hudson River. that is where my girlfriend grew up. then we spent 2 days in Hamlin, PA visiting one of her friends. the area of PA we were in was beautiful this time of year. lots of color in the leaves. on the ride over to PA from Beacon, we drive down State Road 209 south, which took us right along the delaware river. some amazing waterfalls and scenery. we visited my gf's grandmother in stroudmore, PA. had some amazing rainbow trout for lunch. as much as i love our fresh seafood, that trout was some of the best fish i've ever had! it was a nice change from our 90* weather in florida.

Hamlin is about 45 min from me. The Delaware river is a great place to go canoeing in the summer, and the falls are beautiful. Lots of great fishing to be had. Spent many a camping trip on it with the boy scouts over the years. Glad you enjoyed the are and the vacation............Willie..... 010

I was over at Absecon bay sportsman center buying up the last of his clams , and they said the water temp dropped after the blow and weeks worth of rain, and is now at 55 !!! The one guy in there said he went out behind Harrah's this morning and had 20 stripers..... 006

Yesterday he only had 4 pints of frozen. I bought 2 , that left 2. He said he was getting in fresh stuff around noon today, but he said get it quick, cause it goes fast.
