Had to bring the cs home to PA today from the New Jersey shore, for the winter. The campground shuts down the end of the month and won't be getting down there as often. Been sitting on its trailer since Mid August and never did get it in the bay before bringing her home.. Too much to do and too little time.....Will try to run her in the fresh water lake in Nov. and give her a good wash down, maybe even get a chance to chase some of the brown trout around and entice them to hit one of the flies I got in the mail months ago. Then into the garage for the winter. Hopefully take some of the ideas I got here on this board, pump, lighting, and what not and get some work done on her before spring. Also gotta see if I can get the wheels off and get the bearings changed. All I kept thinking about on the 3 hour ride home today, was hope I greeased em up ok. Made it with no problem. have a good one Willie............. 010

Sorry to here about the season change. That is one of the biggest reasons my family and I moved to florida. We were origianlly from Ky. There you have about 2.5 months of lake time then thats it till next year. My wife and I started diving and decided to move to Fl. Ever since (other then 2 stupid years that we moved to NC) we have enjoyed the water lifestyle. Boating, Diving, Snorkeling, Fishing its all good. In the winter you just put on a wetsuit.
Seems like you don't mind and now y0ou will have time to upgrade or modify what you have. Good luck this winter. Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

I am so glad Virginia winters are mild. I fish a lot during the winter. Unless it's below 40 degrees, I'll go out. Dress warmly, don't drive any faster than you have to to get there, and be smart because being cold may suck and being wet may suck, being cold AND wet will REALLY suck. Have fun, and get out there!!!!

Well savannah can be kinda toasty during july and august but the rest of the year is pretty good, not too cold of a winter so you can fish all year. Although i have put the boat in salt water when the air was reading 31 as we pull out.....it was cold, thank goodness for a windshield and not being in my 16 CS that day :) Plus good fishing, come on down, lol.
