Trailer tires

What trailer tires do you recommend? I need at least a spare, but I might go ahead and get two new one's and move one of the current tires over as a spare for my skiff and the other as a spare for another boat.

I've heard good things about TowMax tires. Anyone had good luck with these? Are Goodyear Marathon's still any good? Heard they were made in China now.

Tires are something I've got to do on a couple of trailer I have, and it's probably one of the things I've least though about. On my behalf thanks for the reminder guys.

I,ve ran alot of tires on my 37ft camper and the Goodyear marathon are hard to beat I wish they had a stiffer sidewall.Boat trailer just waiting till I get a flat before I fort out that$$$$$$$$$$$ U get what u pay for.

Walmart tires for me. My J16 probably doesnt puch as much strain on them as the larger boats do. And I dont make long runs to lake. Im stay pretty local.

I ended up getting 2 radial Towmaster tires and gal. wheels from Smith Mountain Boat and Tackle (a Carolina Skiff dealer in Virginia!). I haven't picked them up yet, but hopefully today or tomorrow. Hardly anyone around my area has tires! I called a million places and SM B and T was the only one who could get me tires by the end of the week (the price was right too). I'm headed to the Eastern Shore Friday morning (a last minute trip since the flounder and drum bite is picking up) and didn't want to go without a spare at least.

For anyone interested there is an online store called "The Tire Rack" that has just about any tire you could want and is the best price I have found, even when you add in shipping.
They also have a Q&A section on their site. I have not found anyone who can beat their prices and the shipping is pretty prompt.
