Well yesterday was a real learning curve on the new boat. Besdies the chaulk pulling apart, Trialer hanging up on the front roller, I had an engine thing.

Before leaving the house I tried to trim up the motor (Its an 07 90 Hp Suzuki) well I ran it up as high as it would go, and it automactically cuts off once there. Well it cut off just short enough to where you can't drop the mechanical trim rest lever. It stops about a 1/2" short and hits on the stud that it's supposed to rest on.

There is no fluid leaks from the power trim and everything seems to be working with the exceprtion of it stopping short........

My buddy has the same exact engine and year and told me his did that once in a while also !!!!

Sounds like an easy one since I have the same motor. The tilt has a limiter on it that allows you to set how far it tilts back. With the motor all the way up, look in the area of the pivot/"hinge" of the motor. there is a round, plastic ring that rotates to adjust the limit of tilt. My motor would hit the rear deck until I adjusted it. Your owners manual describes how to adjust it. You can adjust it to go back a bit further so you can put the latch down. It adjusts so easily, that you may have moved it without knowing it.

The caulk I knew would happen and hear that it happens. I'm going to find a caulk that is very elastic (if that thing exists) and fill up the seam again.

How deep was the trailer when the bow hung up? Well over the fenders?

DOH !!!
You know when I was cutting into the bilge for the washdown. I saw that ring and said, Hmmm wonder what thats for and fiddled with it, it turned real easy and I couldn't tell what it did.......

*Note to self*
Don't fiddle with little plastic ring....LOL Thanks !!

I will have to re-chaulk too.

The trailer was where I had it the last two prvios launches, about 3" from the top of the fenders with no problems.
Since I moved the roller down and in it should be fine.

Thanks for the tilt tip, will get that back in adjusment tomorrow.
