View Full Version : Welcome to Our Newest Chapter, The CFC of CSO
Here you go fellas *Cheers*
Harry has been generous to allow us both a separate fishing board for our regions. This is a great opportunity for you to get some added benefits to belonging to the Carolina Skiff Owner forums! Check them out here: http://carolinaskiffowner.com/showthread.php?t=6142
Hector (Whatever) has been working hard (behind the scenes) to see this come about. He has volunteered his time and skills to lead the Cape Fear Chapter of Carolina Skiff Owners (CFC of CSO), and I personally want to thank him for his initiative and foresight.
Good luck and I wish y'all the best of success *014*

;D Well how about that. CSO has two chapters now and between the two they include 99% of the places I use my skiff. I'll be happy to join.
Thanks Hector for stepping up and taking the initiative. *Cheers* I'll send you an e-mail with my info.

Just a little correction Dave,
This is an extra "Forum" on CSO,NOT a separate "Board".
I like to think of it as an extension of CSO, not something separate from CSO.
Never the less, no matter what you call it, hopefully it is something everyone like's, and hopefully it helps anyone wanting to create a local fishing club, or chapter of CSO get started. Plus you get to use CSO as a main form of communication.
While the CCC of CSO may not be of interest to many of you, (and that's fine, don't read it) The CCC of CSO forum stays busy and is a big success to those live in that area.
However if your ever planning a trip to that area and need "Localized" info, a simple read through that forum has a lot of info dedicated specifically to that area. A post will get you responses from those that live, hunt, & fish that local region. Our own CSO experts to that region!!!!
Thanks to these 2 men (Dave & Hector) for stepping up and wanting to start a "Local" Chapter of CSO. Anyone interested in forming your local chapter, let me know, and we can discuss it.
Harry

I appreciate the correction Harry; it was a poor choice of words.
I know you work hard at keeping a "family" atmosphere here on our website and I am thankful for that. I do hope that the inclusion of these (extended) chapters bring added value to (not only the CCC & CFC members) but the membership at large, and provides just one more example of what the possibilities are for ALL members, in ALL regions.

First of all I would like to thank Dave for his help and support in helping me getting the Cape Fear Chapter of CSO up and going. Special thanks to our founder Harry, for giving us the opportunity to participate in such a nice forum site as CSO. We truly have a site here that I personally consider second to none, *018* when it comes to Carolina Skiff knowledge and most of all it's great members, who are always willing to extend their helping hand in both Carolina Skiff and fishing knowledge. I would like to take this time to extend an invitation to all our members to join our Chapter and or continue your participation in CSO as a hold. *Cheers*

You had better come on down, Damn everyone else has, before long the taxes will be as much as in Jersey. just kidding Move on down south where you don't have to put the boat under wrap--where we have about 3-4 weeks of winter . You've got a choice --you can play golf all year-- hunt sept. through dec. big game --small game through Feb. Tukey's throught april, and fish your heart to contentment.

Not to hijack, but what ever happened with the thought of an OBX chapter of CSO? Anyone still interested? I need to join CCC (yeah I know, I KEEP saying that!) as that's where I do most of my fishing, but I do fish the obx, as I know a lot of you do. If anyone know what I would need to do to get that ball rolling again, or if there's anything I can do to expedite the process, let me know.
To you guys down south, Congrats on the chapter!!! I hope you are as successful as the CCC, cuz I go down to BHI once a year for a week, and will take the boat this year. May need some inside info!!
