Hello
Great forum, hope to use it a lot in the future. I see you have listed all models that CS makes, what about older CS Models. I have a 1989, how about a section for them. I know that they were not owned by the same corp, but we still have them. They are harder to find info about, so this forum can really help. You can name it "Classics" to keep it simple. There are lots of them on the Gulf coast of FLA. Thanks for your help

Got your PM about this and sent you one back.
Great idea, Except one thing. I don't know anything about them. If anyone has any info such as who owned the company before, when was the first CS produced, in what sizes they we're offered ,,,,etc. We might be able to add a section for them.

Thanks Again and welcome to the site !!!!

They were made from 1983-1992, until they were sold o the current company. If you need a link to company info, I can send it to the forum. Hope to see it added. Thanks

Great idea on the old skiff section. I would love to find an old 17' or 19' hull to build on myself. Wish I knew were the molds are.

There is one on ebay as we now.

I am getting this second hand but.......it is my understanding that the original Carolina Skiff hulls were Southern Skimmers. I was told that someone bought out Southern Skimmer under the name Carolina Skiff. Later.... Southern Skimmer opened back up with a slightly different hull design under new ownership and Carolina skiff evolved into the hulls we see today(I say they went the wrong direction).

Anyone else hear this story?
