Hi Folks,
Let me introduce myself. My name is Harry and I'm a first time Carolina Skiff owner. (LOL, Sounds like an AA meeting intro) ;D
I just purchased an 07 198 DLV with a 90 Hp Suzuki EFI.
So far I only have 4 break in hours on it, and have been plenty busy doing Mod's and installing extra's such as Plotter/FF , VHF, Rod holders,,,,etc.
While not working ( I'm a Power Company Lineman by trade) or working on the new boat, I've been busy gathering info on the Skiff weather it be in books,magazines, the web or word of mouth.
While searching the web, I only found one site that really took on the topic of the Carolina Skiff, and let's give the MSN board it's prop's.
Since I already am a Co-founder & owner of a Classic Chevy Muscle car website, I figured what a great oppurtunity to maybe start up a Carolina Skiff site to help spread the word of the great boat I have now found myself in !!
Also it would be cool to get to talk to others with similar interests and maybe swap some stories and tips to make our boating and fishing time on the water more enjoyable.
With the help of my Buddy Don, We have been able to set up this new board that we hope you all find pleasing, easy to navigate, and fun to use. I also hope you find it enjoyable enough to mark as a favorite, and find your way back often.
As with anything new, it will take time to get established, and with the help of you all, and your particapation, We can hopefully carve out our own little corner of the internet that we can call our own, BS about the Skiff, Sea Chaser, and maybe even swap fishing lie's.
