Crabbing - Past 2 weeks...

Well...I haven't been around since I've been fist fighting with my motor since July 17th...finally got her repaired correctly, tough...

Anyway, last 2 weekend s in a row we headed out and ran the trot lines...

2 weeks ago, we have 8 dozen...mostly 5" but pretty packed...still the commercial traps are all around and have been there all year...

Last week we tried a different area where there weren't as many commercial traps and had better luck with some 14 dozen coming home...

...so on the ride home...motor is runnign fine...steering goes...what luck! 001

...so now we're down another weekend to fix that...hopefully it gets done fast and we can get on the water for a few hours...

001 with the motor, and 010 with the crabs. I only got out 2 or 3 times all summer and ended up buying 4 dozen the one time, cause we only got 3 keepers. May try tomorrow for an hour or so. Willie

This summer has been nothing but aggravation...

Yes we still have the Bertram, but having the Skiff down was a thorn in my side...

Now the steering has to be replaced...DOH!

We'll see...maybe we'll get out there again on Sunday...

PS I saw you post in the sale forum...stepping up?
