I had nothing to do this afternoon, 70* and the wind not blowing too bad, so a little skiffin' seemed like a good idea! I think Spring has arrived here in southeast NC. Found water temp.s anywhere from 55* at the Lockwood Folly inlet to 62* up the river. Even got a pair of specs willing to eat some gulp under a popping cork. Inshore fishing should be improving quickly with the rising water temp.s *008*

Looks fiesty.

I enjoy fresh trout for breakfast. Can't resist keeping them unless they are too small. Many times I've brought home the one lonely trout I managed to catch. I guess that's what grits are for...
