When I picked up the boat in Va and towed it home to NJ. It tossed my S-10 blazer all over the place.
When I got home an decoupled I found out why. The fricken tounge weight was off the chart !!!!
Anyway the trailer is a Road king and is not a bad little trailer. The good part was the spring hangers are not welded to the frame and are on a seperate angle iron deal.
I measured 8" Fwd on both frame rails of where I wanted the axle, Jacked the back of the trailer up with my floor jack letting the front jack support the front.
With the axle hanging I was able to loosen the "U" bolts holding the angle iron attached to the axle and slid it FWD to meet my marks.
What a difference !!! It tows real nice and I can move it about the drieway with ease.
