Myself have been busy fishing in some tournaments. Won last weeks !!

Not much today as the wind was howling 004

Been coach football again this year, 5 nights a week. Won our exibition game last week and had our home opener tonight. We won 20 to zip 010

My son carried the ball once and scored a TD from 6 yards out (he plays gaurd) but they will put him in at full back for short yard carries. On defense he is middle linebacker and played like a beast tonight with many big hits and a forced fumble. they also named him team captain...... ;D

Fished off of convention hall in AC yesterday morning in the wind. Had 5 throwbacks, 1 keeper, skates, dogs and BIG sea robins. One weakie and a 3 snappers as well. It was snotty out there. Pulled my Garmin off the boat so I can send it for repair. I need it back by striper time!! Aside from that its work work work!

Whats the deal with that, what happened or what is not working on it ?

I've been losing bottom sometimes when running lately, and even if I stop and shut the motor down it won't pick it back up again. I have to shut the unit down and wait for it to cycle through on start up to get it back, what a PITA!!!.... 004

My sounder died and its not the transducer. So I'll have it back in a week or 2. Your prob sounds like bottom interference? Are your settings on "Auto"?

Yes, shouldn't it be? Also someone told me to try and click the ducer down a click or two and try it.... 006

Harry,

Check the bottom of the transducer for marine growth 006 maybe interfering with signal. 008

I was running mine with it angled so that the end is deeper than the leading edge if that makes any sense. It worked great when it worked!

Pulled the boat yesterday for a good cleaning and maintance. Bottom of the ducer is clean and no growth.

I did tilt the back edge down one click, so we will see next time out.
