Went out this morning before the tropical depression or what ever they are calling it now hits. Headed out to the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel.
Slick calm until about 12:30. Wind pick up and so did we.
Caught pleanty of sea bass. All were released for another day.

Nice pictures............when is the storm supposed to get your area? Where do you put in at to get out to the bay bridge? Been down that way a few times, in fact my wife informs me she is going to retire to the VA beach area, and if I am not ready to retire then, I can come visit any time I want to. decisions decisions............oh well thats not for 7 years or so...........Willie 010

I launch at Portsmouth City Park ramp. It is on the Elizabeth River. The CBBT is
an hour run @ 25 mph. In the first pic in the top left is Va Beach. Not Beach
proper as in sand n surf bit the city of. That Is Cape Henry.
The whole Hampton Roads area is full of fishing n boating opportunities.
Great place to be. If you don't like the weather hang around a day or two,it'll change
Come on up, you'll have a blast.
News says the Trop Dep Gabrielle is to hit the Outer Banks of N.C.tomorrow
and hang a right and go back out to sea.
All forcast subject to change . . .
