For those of you that purchase your gasoline on the way to the ramp, the Fuel Market at Whispering Pines (formerly Pender Park) on Hwy. 24 near Broad Creek lists their regular unleaded gasoline as ethanol-free.
In NC, if the ethanol is 10% or less, they don't have to sticker the pumps so it's nice to see a station at least mention it.

By late 2006, most American gasoline retailers had ceased using MTBE as an oxygenate

TO BETTER UNDERSTAND ETHANOL LETS LOOK AT WHAT IT " HAS " REPLACED !

I'M SURE THAT STATION IS WRONG ! AND I WOULD NOT CALL IT CLEAN GAS !

MTBE IN GAS WAS / IS A PROBLEM IN OUR GROUND WATER AND MAY CAUSING CANCER
