I want to start adding things to my J16 and need some help as to what type of glue/sealant/adhesive to use for what project.
1. Adding a rod saver to the side gunwals?
2. Adding a 3 rod holder to the side of my console? If I drill into the console to make the holes for the holders screws, do I add some marine sealant to the screws when driving them in?
any info appreciated as always

3M 5200 for attaching to the sides of the skiff. when i added rod holders to my console, i drilled holes and used stainless bolts with nylon lock nuts. the console is not very thick and bolts will work better than screws. i didn't add any sealant. also when drilling into something like the console, put a piece of masking tape over the hole to be drilled, it will help with the fiberglass splintering.

Thanks, I know 5200 is super strong, but is there a way of removing it if I had to?

Not sure about what is under your console but be careful not to drill into the gas tank
