Front Deck Hatches (top)

I was just wondering if any of you members have installed any upper deck hatches on your skiffs ? If so, I have not seen any pics on this site. I am just curious as to how hard the installation will be. I would like to attempt this on my 1980DLX. Will be looking for reply.

I have seen pictures a while ago, not on this site, about that and it didn't seem to be any more difficult than the installation to cover the hatches already in the older Semiv's on the front of the front deck....keep us posted. Just make sure you get the ones strong enough to walk on. I think if you do a search on the msn cs sight for anchor storage, you may come up with it. Willie 010 I just tried a search there and could not find the pictures, but I am sure they are there somewhere. good luck.

Hey, many thanks for the reply,Mr. Willie. I saw some at West Marine awhile back that looked pretty sturdy. I just intend on mounting one about medium size on the front deck. For access into front deck besides the two openings that already exist.
