New guy from south ms

Hi all, my name is steven, I am from south ms, and mainly fish the grass flats at the mouth of the pascagoula river and back bay in biloxi. I work as a firefighter in gulfport so I get PLENTY of time off to fish!!!! lucky me!!!! lol well if there is any of you guys around my area, please get with me and we will go wet a line!!!

my rig is an 03 j14 with a 25 nissan tiller. she has a large front deck and I'm in the process of deciding which rear deck to add. It has a bench in the rear at the moment. The fishing in my area is great, tons of specks, reds, flounder, bass and believe it or not we have an annual striper run. Some folks have even been catching some tarpon, all within a rocks throw of the bank. I live right off one of the largest grass flats in ms and can motor out from my back yard and get into the fish pretty quick, most days that is!!!

Welcome, spent lots of time at Keesler AFB for training and NEVER went fishing. *001* Didn't know what I missing (too busy chasing something else) *eyebrow raising*. Would love to make a trip down there now.
