Ok So my J14 is powered by a transom mount minkota 24v trolling motor. I had to move the wiresaround this weekend to do some other work on the back of the boat.

The motor requires it to be run off to 2 bateries in a cycle. I understand how to hook that up however my question is what the heck is the yellow wire comming fromthe motor. It comesout of the same place as the positive and negitive conection wires from the motor.

Does anyone know where this should go or what it is for??

Need a little more info like the model number and so forth... but it may be this.

Do a little more checking before you go to the bank on this though... *006*

Shake, ....you are exactly right with the diagram. I was only looking at the printed instructions, but found the diagram futher in the instruction book for the motor......guess they want to make you look for it. Makes sense for them to put the diagram right after the printed instructions, RIGHT??? Thanks a million for the response
