i like ugly's! they are great rods for redfish and trout. my favorate new set up is a pflueger 7' med/lt rod with a Pflueger trion gx7 reel. it's loaded with 10lbs dia/30lbs test power pro. ultimate redfish combo! i also have a smaller pflueger trion for trout and fresh water fishing. this one has 4lbs/12lbs test power pro. my ugly stick has a shakespear reel on it and 12 lbs mono line.

Well... the story is:
Shakespear is down in Columbia, and once a year they have a BIG sale, at 3 pm everything drops to 75% off.
then we get the 15' surfrods for 15 bucks each, IM8 baitcasters for 7 bucks each, tuna rods for 10, and the list goes on and on and on........ and after a few sales, ya got all ya ever wanted.
Now if St Croix would move the flyrod plant to Columbia and have a couple sales............. 010
