Three of us bundled up late Sunday morning and headed for the rocks at the Cape May Inlet. After a slow start, the tog started biting on the green crabs and clams. Caught our limit of 18 in about 3 hours of fishing plus twice that many that were thrown back. The ones we kept were all in the 16 to 20 range. Not too crowded considering it was the weekend, but there seemed to be quite a few boats fishing the lumps off the beach for stripers. Great day to be out in the fresh air rather than sitting on the couch watching the stinkin eagles.

Your post brought back some memories. We used to fish those rocks all the time as a kid. We still own a house on Idaho Ave., down by the old Christian Admiral. Now that I am all grown up, and somewhat responsible, we don't get up there much for fishing, just to visit.

Sounds like it was worth it to brave the cold and go fishing instead of watching the pigeons play. They are terrible this year.

Yeah, I missed the pictures too! Forgot to pack my camera. Need to add that to my pre-departure checklist so that I can post pictures for future catches.

I never heard of that one before. I had to Google it. That's a bass fisherman for you! *001*
