Like some of you I had my bow gunwale get hung up on the roller. I didn't want to drill holes in my bow to mount a plate so I came up with this removable bow plate. It snaps into place and is a snug fit, but I lean over and remove it after I launch, it could pop out if you hit a nice wake while running.

I cut a piece of 1 1/4" PVC, 2 1/4" long and 8" long. I then cut a piece of 1/16" aluminum 8" wide and 4" deep in center contour and used a few stainless screws to hold it all together. This works on my CS, you may need some mods for the one you have.

I added a small 1/2" piece of PVC and another plate to give it more of an angle. The other plate worked fine, this on works better with the angle added.

Great job! That one belongs in the trick your skiff contest Brokebeach is running.
