I have seen a few boards where you can give thanks to members. I think it is a neat idea, is there anyway to do that here?

There is a "Thank You" Hack for Vbull that adds a little thank you button beside the quote button. Then instead of having a hundred posts that say thanks on them, it just creates a list of users under you post who have pressed the "Thank You" button.

Also under you Join Date on the right side of your post, it will keep a count of how many times you have been thanked since you have joined.

As I am NOT the puter expert (as proved by completley deleting everything in my pm thingy boxes trying to figger out how to empty the sent ones , *004* *004* *004* )

I have a couple questions,
1. would it save bandwith?
2. A. would it cost post count ? B. is post count a + or a - thing as far as the look of the site on the web?
3. would it be a hassle for the fine folks that already spend a good deal of their free time ( *018* THANKS TO THE MODS) here?
