Hi Spector, I just joined this forum and this is a cool place. Are you going to be in the Radio Island/Carrot Island area this weekend? We'll be putting around down that way.

Howdy Spector! Welcome home. ;D

I've spent some time around Goldsboro & Kinston during my textile years. I use to go behind the AFB in the evenings and watch the F15's do touch and go's. I suppose they won't let ya do that anymore... homeland security and all that. {sigh}

Anyway, glad you found us and maybe we can catch up with you some day down there around Beaufort.

Thanks for the warm welcome, I retired from the Air Force at Seymour Johnson about 6 year ago. If anyone spots a 17' skiff with the name " Drag Nasty" on her sides, thats me.

Welcome Spector!! Did you fly in the airforce? If so what? The air force was my first career choice, but I was told I was too tall to be a fighter pilot.

I was an avionic sensor tech, but I did fly on MH-53 special ops helicopters for three years in England.
