I have one I have to dig out for you. I dont even know what it is but its OLD. I have an old 4/0 senator thats from the early 70's that may see service again. I just gave away about 6 rods and reels of various types to a buddy. I usually buy a matched pair of rods and reels every year or so and cull out the old ones. But, I have some old Diawa BG's that live forever that I still use.

Hello,
Green rod is a '68 Pflueger no. 660p 5'6" fiberglass, on it is an Ocean city circa '53.
The other rod is an American Standard all metal pole, Oxford OS4 4' circa 1880-1890, on it is a Pflueger Trump from '43.
Slim, what does your rod look like??

Hey Fillit1,
Here's mine, not shure about make or year myself, 4' long and I call her "Matilda". She's a brute, used to pull in bull sharks and anything else that bit around Tybee Isl., GA back in the late 70's

I got to lay out my "bertha" True-Temper green-glass rod...
but I warn ya, it's been re-worked!
it was previously "loved" for a long time before I took it to the rod shop.

I have an old saltwater reels call Sidewinders. They were brought back in the '40??
and have the name on them " U-Needa-Reel". They are made of an early pastic called bakerlite. I think they are a copy of the older saltwater reels that were made of wood. Both of these reels are mounted to the side of the rode and the guide are placed so that they guide the line 90 degrees to the tip.
Anybody seen these? or own one?

Most of the guys are posting pictures up on PhotoBucket and making a link to them in their post. I think the maximum image size on PhotoBucket is 1024x768. There's a way to set the size up there to default to the web image size of 640x480 which works pretty well when including the pic in a forum posting. I hope that helps to answer your question. Let us know if it doesn't.

Photbucket is the way to go, no doubt.
