Hi,
Just saw this great site. I own two carolina skiffs, a 19' and a 17'. Unfortunately my 17' just doesn't get used that much, never has. It is a 90's model 17'er with a 60 evinrude on a shorelandr trailer. I just put brand new tires on the trailer. I am the second owner and bought when was practically new. The boat has been perfectly maintained and the engine has less than 200 hrs on it with great compression. It is painted battleship grey outside and light grey inside. Has black bottom paint on it but never left overboard for any extended amount of time. Comes with a humminbird fishfinder, stainless steel prop, No Feedback Steering, front and rear trolling motor mounts. Trailer has slick pads on it for easy loading. This boat is fast, stable, reliable, wide open, and fuel efficent. Located in eastern NC. Asking $5100 OBRO. For more Info call 252-207-1880 no calls after 930pm or so please. Leave msg if no answer or just post it here.

Thanks

Forgot to mention the boat cover included. Ran over 10 miles yesterday in 2 ft chop burned ~2 gals while showing for a potential buyer. Let's just hope his bank loan comes through this week.

Hi Jay
A few questions. Is the 17' hull a DLX? I can't tell from the photo. Also, can the grey color be painted white easily? Lastly, how far are you from Wilmington? Your area code covers half of the state in that direction. If you don't sell it to the guy looking at it, I am interested. thanks

Willie you're probably right. I can't tell where the bottom paint ends in the pictures. Maybe it's wishful thinking, but I see a DLX because that's what I'm looking for. :)

Hey guys, sorry I haven't been on this site in quite some time. The hull is not a DLX. It has chines along the bottom but does not have the step bow in the front like the ones in production now. I will take some more pix and get them up for ya'll shortly? Any particular area of interest? interior pix is what I'm guessing. I would imagine it would not be difficult to repaint it white, you could strip the grey off with a sander I guess, I've never considered doing so. I get alot of compliments the few times I've had it out about it looking professional.
