Hi Guys. I'm new to the board. I just bought a 218DLV w/ a Yamaha F115. She's been great so far. I fish and crab the Chesapeake Bay and it's tributaries. The 218DLV was a great compromise to be able to fish and crab. I can crab the shallows and feel comfortable in the open Bay. If it's not too snoody that is. I've already found a lot of great info on this site. I will be contributing some of my own ideas soon. See ya on the water.

sportskiff - Thanks.
Harry - Thanks. We call em' Rockfish in MD. I love the pull of a biggin at the end of a line. Blues put up a pretty nice fight too. It's fun when they go airborne. Just being out on the water in a Carolina Skiff is great ;D.
