shur wish I knew how to clam, I LOVE clam chowder!!!!!!! I don't even know if they got clams here, if they do, I ain't had nobody sho me!!!!!!! Sho me yer clams!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hope to get em soon. I usually go once or twice a year. All you need is a small (softball size ) rake, some old jeans and a low tide mud flat.
Get on your knees in the mud, put the rake out in front of you, and just comb the tines through the mud. No digging! Just gently pull the rake towards you letting its own weight push the tines in. When you feel a rock - thats a clam.
