Fluke report 5/29/08

[Fillet1]

Fished yesterday in Harry's neck of the woods. On the water by 6:00 and had about a dozen throwbacks with 2 keepers. One at 22" the other at 18" Also a few bluefish in the 5 LB range. Nice morning then I ran out of tide. Hung around until the beginning of incoming and back in as the wind picked up.

Got set up in my new slip for the rest of the season. All is good. *Cheers*

nice catch how deep was the water and what type bait. Im headed down tomorrow weather looks bad but might get out Sunday Great Bay area.

Cmon now Slim!! Summer Flounder is a fluke.;D I call em fluke sometimes. Harry likes flounder. I call winter flounder flounder.

Wilky - No "bait". Just the smelly rubber stuff in 6-15 feet water. ;)In your neck of the woods I like Blacks Point on the ICW between great bay and Absecon. Its a killer spot.

Thanks for the info headed down later today hope to get out. I got to give the plastics a try. I always go with the minnow or strip bait. Was using Mackeral and bluefish bellies last week.

Oh Boy! I love rigging reports. I just rigged up two poles for tomorrow's fishing trip with Gunnar. Been thinkin about it all day, going through my tackle boxes, changing my mind a few dozen times then finally settled on what I settled on. I expect they will do for the drive down to the ramp, then I'll change 'em to what Gunnar's usin' ;D
