I use a 89 chevy, no ac, no computer, used to be a 4.3 v-6, now a .60 over 350,4 bbl quadrajet, flat tops, 194-150 67cc heads, mild grind for "gas economy". car 700r4 w/trans cooler, 3" dual w/flo masters (sounds like a big block) short and tucked out the pass side in front of the wheel. And the folks at the dmv keep trying to tell me rust isn't a color, so I guess it's "red", 300,000+ miles, 3 rd mill,2nd tranny, and ya gotta "herd" her down the road like an old blind steer. Got a lot of dents (tryin ta see if the "golfball " theroy is sound) Betsy (truck name) has 3 deer kills, and various assorted "small game" kills as well, kinda one eyed, GREAT view of the ground in front of the driver though (thanks to the last deer).
Parked it at the ramp one day and some body thought my 27 dollar kraco cassette player was worth bustin the sliding window out, I guess upon closer inspection the kraco wasn't worth it, as they took nothing. I leave it with the windows down and unlocked now. Lesson learned.
If ya'll happen to see Betsy go by, wave an git outta the way, an if I just happen to loose parts, feel free to wave me down to see if I actually "need" what fell off .

DANG!!!!!! :o I wouldn't have to spend much hook-up time if the hydralics would "put the belly in the dirt on that ride". I think looking around the 2180 might be a little hard, needs bigger/longer mirrors.........

I see cars like that around here everywhere. I wish my vehicle was alot older I just might see what they look like in the ditch.

LOL

Sorry but I hate that look.

yeah i'm not a big fan of that "look". i've got a good friend who does metal fabrication work and he does a lot of these cars. anything from lifting them for bigger wheels to adding verticle doors. his newest trick is using the verticle door kits and flipping them around and doing vert doors all the way around. he charges 2500 for the front and over 3k to do the rear doors. you wouldn't think gainesville would have the market for it, but he stays as busy as he wants.
