Mornin', Lads,

A few weeks ago, before I joined this forum I read all of your posts regarding fishfinders/gps and the like, and determined to purchase a Lowrance 525c from Hodges Marine Electronics. I did so, it came in just a few days, and the only thing I have opened is the user manual. It is too complicated for me (the novice) and it would really be too much technology for me who has a Raymarine unit on my bigger boat and would really not be able to use the Lowrance on my J14 as I ain't even educated on fishin' yet.

I have submitted for a RMA from Hodges so I can get a refund minus 10% restocking fee but before I send it back, if any of you are interested in this brilliant device, please get back to me asap. I paid $635 shipped for it, and I would be happy to get it to a nice home for $575 shipped. Ya will not find a better price on the planet. Like I said, I've had it for only 2 1/2 weeks and it is factory fresh, please do your own research on this unit as I won't be able to answer emails/PMs while I'm at work. First come/first served. Thanks and have a great day!

Excellent choice! I will get that info this evening when I get home (my work blocks personal email) and will ship to you tomorrow UPS. This is one heck of a gadget and if you can figure out all the features I am sure you will be thoroughly pleased!

I'll probably have to mail you the unit first and submit the required proof of purchase info after. The coupon link gets scrambled when I try to save it. I'll take care of that tonight. Let me know which map you want!

ok ive been looking at lowrance site at user manual , its real similar to the raymarine unit i had on my last boat , it takes awhile to learn to use it . i found it was better to learn in the driveway than 20 miles offshore with the waves bumping you around , i got sick once thying to learn to use the thing offshore LOL , yea theres no hurry on the map deal it runs till july ok paypal payment should have my address if not just shoot me a post and ill resend it to you *thumbsup*
as far as map i like the NauticPath™ USA
this site is better than ebay for buying and selling *Cheers*
thanks have a good day
