the fishing's been slow right now for me, mainly b/c i've been scalloping every weekend. i've got a wedding to attend tomorrow and got to help my brother move on sunday, so it looks like i wont be back on the water till next weekend. this month is my favorate for catching BIG redfish around the august full moon! so i should have some good pictures by the end of the month. last august we did pretty good, 2 days after the full moon we had 5 redfish over 36" at one spot!

Well it dips into the single digits here and we can still fish 365 days a year, through the ice of course.........but I love that toooooooo...........right now its 95 and 200% humidity and that sucks big time.................give me a nice 70 to 75 degree day in the summer and thats great.
anyway keep a catchin the big ones and give us some reports, keep skiffin willie ;D
Hey Slim, where abouts do you do your redfishing? I know you live in Gator nation, do you fish the East or West coast?

loki- my parents have a condo in crystal river, so mostly i'm fishing there. i run out the salt river to the south, towards ozello, fl. there's a lot of back country shallows. reminds me of the keys with lots of mangrove islands and crystal clear water. this time of the year the spoil banks to the north of the crystal river has the big reds. i will also fish cedar key and over on the east coast around st. augustine. there's dozen of springs that flow into the crystal river, so it makes the afternoon much more refreshing. plus that's where i clean all the scallops we get.
Good deal and thanks for sharing! I always enjoy the "where, when, and how's" to learning a a new spot!
Mike
